Trent B. Speckhals
Before founding Speckhals & Cora, P.C. with partner Hector Cora, Trent practiced at one of the Southeast’s largest and oldest firms, Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP. There, he represented clients who had been severely injured and who lost loved ones due to other’s negligence.
While working full time as an Account Executive and then Sales Director at AT&T, Trent attended Georgia State University’s College of Law at night, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of Law Review and Moot Court.
Prior to that, Trent attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in International Relations. While there, he also received a minor in Economics and took numerous courses at Penn’s Wharton School of Business.
Trent is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. He is active in the community and volunteers as a coach at the local YMCA.
Hector R. Cora
Before founding Speckhals & Cora, P.C. with partner Trent Speckhals, Hector had his own practice where he represented injured workers and tried numerous high profile criminal cases. Hector continues to represent worker’s compensation clients as well as those severely injured or killed through the negligence of others.
Hector attended Emory at Oxford, University of Georgia and Georgia State University where he graduated with a degree in Accounting. He then worked as a business broker and also started a successful business.
While running his own business by day, Hector attended Georgia State University’s College of Law at night.
Hector is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. He is active in the community and has appeared on many public service Spanish radio and television programs such as Leyes Cotidians answering legal questions and advising the public.
